Sundays 9am–5pm. Appointment required.
All patients suitable for private specialist assessment in endocrinology, diabetes, obesity medicine, or cardiology
A GP referral is strongly recommended and preferred. It allows us to review your full medical history, current medications, and the clinical reason for referral before your appointment — leading to a more efficient and thorough consultation. However, self-referrals are also accepted. If you are self-referring, please bring any relevant test results, letters, or medical records to your appointment.
We aim to offer appointments within 1–4 weeks of receiving a referral, depending on clinical urgency and clinic availability. Urgent referrals are prioritised. Please contact us directly at Syed.Kazmi@healthmail.ie or 089 656 7597 if your situation is time-sensitive.
Our endocrinology service covers: Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, obesity and weight management (including GLP-1 therapies), thyroid disorders (hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, nodules), adrenal conditions (Cushing's, Addison's), polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), male hypogonadism, pituitary disorders, osteoporosis, and complex lipid disorders.
Our cardiology service covers: chest pain assessment, hypertension, arrhythmia, heart failure, ECG and Holter monitoring, cardiovascular risk assessment, and post-intervention follow-up.
Please contact us directly to confirm your specific plan's coverage before attending. Insurer panels and coverage levels change regularly, and we recommend calling your insurer directly to verify whether our consultants are covered under your plan before booking.
We are located at Suite 5, Vista Primary Care Clinic, Ballymore Road, Naas, Co. Kildare (Eircode: W91 E6H2). Free car parking is available on-site at Vista Primary Care. The clinic is accessible by car from the N7 and is served by Bus Éireann routes in Naas town.
This depends entirely on the clinical assessment. In many cases, particularly for diabetes or thyroid conditions where investigations are pending, we may request blood tests and imaging before initiating treatment. However, where the clinical picture is clear, treatment may be initiated at the first consultation. Your consultant will discuss the plan with you at the appointment.
Please bring: your GP referral letter (if applicable), a list of your current medications, any recent blood test results, relevant imaging or scan reports, your insurance card (if applicable), and a list of any questions you wish to discuss. If you use a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) or insulin pump, please bring the device or access to its data.
Our clinic primarily serves adult patients (18 years and over). For paediatric endocrinology or cardiology, please discuss with your GP for referral to the appropriate paediatric specialist service.
A consultant is a fully qualified specialist who has completed all postgraduate training and is on the Specialist Register of the Medical Council of Ireland. At our clinic, all consultations are conducted by our named consultants — Dr Kazmi and Dr Kalyar — not by registrars, junior doctors, or locum staff. You will always see the consultant named in your referral.
Ask your GP to send a referral letter to our clinic. GPs can send referrals by email to Syed.Kazmi@healthmail.ie. We provide a GP referral email template — your GP can use their own format or follow our suggested template available on the GP Referrals section of this page. We will contact the patient directly once the referral is received to arrange an appointment.
